Overview of the area
One of best places near Reykjavik if you want to chase northerns lights, no light pollution, and the landscape is just perfect: You are in the middle of nowhere! The little sound of the river in background makes the chase magic. The cottage is very comfortable and perfect cleanliness. The quality to price ratio is just perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage. We should have stayed more nights here!

We stayed 3 weeks in 10 different properties in Iceland and this was our best accommodation. Cozy, clean, comfortable and very well equipped cottage in a great location. Close to Landmannalaugar, but also not far from the ferry to Westman Islands. We were surprised by the excellent customer service from the hosts. They were in touch with us prior to the arrival sending detailed information and also the whole stay and they immediately answered all the questions and requests.

We only offer a queen size bed in all of our cottages. Double bed is not an option.
No. We only offer a queen size bed. Of course your baby is welcome, but it’s up to you to bring your baby to our cottages.
No. We don’t offer breakfast or other meals.
Yes. All of our cottages are non-smoking and it’s forbidden to smoke inside of the cottages.
Yes. There is a parking lot right in front of all of the cottages which you can use free of charge.
No. All types of cars can reach our cottages. But in the winter we highly recommend everyone to rent a 4×4 car, wherever you’re going to travel in Iceland. In the winter the road is well maintained and monitored.
No. We don’t allow any pets inside of our cottages for a very good reason.
